Obituary:

Lois Riedman, age 90, of Fargo, ND, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025 surrounded by family and friends.
Lois was born in 1935 to Herman and Marjory Haberman. She graduated from the North Dakota State College of Science, where she met the love of her life, Ray Riedman. They were married on September 3, 1955, and shared 70 wonderful years together, raising four children.
Lois dedicated much of her professional life to the YMCA in Fargo, serving as a Membership Secretary. There, she not only contributed to the organization but also built countless lifelong friendships that meant the world to her.
A true source of joy for Lois was spending summers at the lake cottage on Ottertail Lake, which she co-owned with her sister, Joan Vogel. Those sun-soaked days with family and friends became some of her most treasured memories.
Lois is survived by her devoted husband, Ray; her children: Holly McKoy (Wade) of Jackson, WY; Steve Riedman of Fargo, ND; Sue Curd (Jon) of Boise, ID; and Bill Riedman (Doris) of Ennis, MT; grandson Seth Auser, Seattle, WA and granddaughter, Elizabeth Riedman, her sister, Joan Vogel of Billings, MT; many loving nieces and nephews; as well as dear friends, Susan and Dean Boreen of Fargo, ND.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Marjory Haberman.
A celebration of Lois’s life will be held at Edgewood Retirement Home, 4440 S. 37th Ave, Fargo, on Friday, October 24th, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. A light lunch will be served in the coffee shop at 2:30 p.m.
Lois will be remembered for her kind generous heart, strong spirit, and the joy she brought to all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and community that will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
