Dear Classes of 1957, 1960, & 1964:

This is a Deacon Alert to inform you of the passing of Paul T. Jorgenson ('64) on Tuesday, July 1st.

Paul was a member of the Class of 1964, and the brother of Joanne (Jorgenson) Anderson ('57), Georgine (Jorgenson) Parker ('60), and Mary Kay (Jorgenson) Babb.

Obituary:

Paul Jorgenson, brother and veteran, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, at Essentia Health in Fargo, North Dakota, at the age of 79. Born on May 3, 1946, in Fargo, Paul lived a life marked by service, dedication, and craftsmanship.

Paul graduated from Shanley High School in 1964 and subsequently enlisted in the United States Navy in 1965. He served honorably aboard a ship during the Vietnam War, exemplifying the values of courage and commitment to his country. Following his discharge, he attended North Dakota State University and studied carpentry at Moorhead Technical College, honing his skills that would shape his career as a carpenter.

Paul was known for his exceptional craftsmanship and unwavering work ethic, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of working alongside him. He took great pride in his work, often taking on projects that showcased his talent and creativity.

Paul is survived by his sisters, Joanne Anderson, Georgine Parker, and Mary Kay Babb, who will cherish his memory and celebrate his life.

Paul was preceded in death by: Thorman Jorgenson, Dorothy Jorgenson

Services will be held at a later date in September.
